You guys. I am so honored to be rebranding Elizabeth Fogarty Photography. I actually went to high school with Liz and watching her grow in just the last two years has been so amazing! She is super talented as both a photographer and business woman. She is rocking the wedding industry and even Washingtonian Bride & Groom recognized it as they named her one of the rising stars to watch in the new year!
I sat down with Liz in my home studio this past week to have her brand coaching session where we talked through her ideal client, established her industry niche, talked packages, and much more. For each of my clients I create a mockup ideal client of their own using the fashion app Polyvore. It’s so fun and having a visual to hand to a client really lets them know “I get you.” I create the “client” based on information my own client fills out in their initial in depth questionnaire. See Liz’ ideal client below as well as some answers to a few questions I asked her about how the session went.
What did you love most about your brand coaching session?
What I absolutely love is all the behind the scenes guidance that Katie does. I had no idea we would go over my pricing packages and I am so glad we did because it is 100 times better! It is so nice to talk to a professional about where you want to take your business.
Did you feel like we established your ideal client and niche? Why is that important to you?
YES! I love the profile Katie created of my ideal client because it is ON POINT. If you don’t know who your client is, how can you sell to them? It is so important to have that as a reference point so you can go back to it every time you need to make progress in your business.
Have you been confident so far in seeing the design work after our coaching session? Can you see how the session influenced the design? Do you think it made it easier?
Yes. I am confident and SUPER excited about what Katie will create for my new brand and website. It was so helpful to tell her what I like and what I don’t like.
How did you feel after the brand coaching session?
It was amazing to meet one on one. My last web designer was out of town, so all we had was phone calls and emails. Meeting my web designer in her office was such a plus. We got more work done and It is moving quite along!
