The tagline for Ribbon & Ink is “artisan branding for creatives & couples.” I think most people get what branding for creatives is, but I think many people are unclear what branding for couples means. This post is for you!

Put simply custom wedding branding for couples means creating a visual identity for a couple’s wedding day in the form of a logo, monogram logo, color palette, patterns, and fonts and then using that identity (or brand board as I call it) to design the print items. The brand board serves as a guideline for all the other vendors involved in the wedding to match colors and style. It’s a great way to keep everything consistent! Instead of just getting pretty, custom invitations, you are getting a custom brand. See the example here:

Once I have finished the brand board for a couple I will use it to create the print products and show to the client in a mockup like this:

Once mockups are approved the files get sent to be printed! It’s so easy!
