My dad was a very successful business owner while I was growing up. I want to create a romantic-vintage blog/magazine. I don't know that one exists yet. It must be incredibly beautiful, with an uncluttered aesthetic, easy to navigate and give romantic-vintage/classic photo and content inspiration. There aren't many digital publications on the market that has the romantic style I am going for. Also I'm creating the content from a planner's perspective, and I am very crafty so am able to find and explain DIY projects easily.

I need direction! I have created the last 3 websites for myself, & as each one has gotten better...it's still not what I envision. I need to really sit down and pinpoint what my niche is, and make a final decision on the details of my business.
The wedding industry is a very saturated market and as a wedding pro, the lines between inspiration and comparison can be very grey. Throw in all different styles and aesthetics of photography, it can be very hard to define one's own brand and art and stay consistently true to it. With Katie helping to define an ideal client, wedding venue type, color palette, mission statement, direction of pricing among so many other things, I realized that I do have something special and unique to offer potential clients. That clear vision and confidence means everything to me!
I felt as though I had a friend who cared just as much about my business as I do. My old brand was beautiful, don't get me wrong but it wasn't ME. It was just something beautiful that sat on the computer screen that I couldn't relate to.
