A part of my branding for creatives and wedding businesses service includes a styled stock photography brand shoot. Back in the day I used to create these flat lay images for clients to have cohesive photos on their websites and instagram, but now…I outsource! I have come to realize that I am okay at photography, but to provide the best for my clients I want to get the best.

About two years ago I started working with Jenna Shriver Photography at her studio, Together Studios, in Westminster, MD. It was seriously a divine connection as Jenna was leaving the wedding photographer world and focusing on brand photography for small businesses. It was a win win for us both!

After our first shoot I also realized that while I’m okay at styling for photos, there are people WAY better. This is when we decided to incorporate a stylist into our brand shoots to make the photos extra pretty and magazine worthy. For two years we used our dear friend Marcie Lenick of Marcie Lenick Events, but she moved this past spring and we were on the hunt for a new stylist.

I then connected with Katie of Social Graces Events. Katie and I had spoken before about updating her website and while she didn’t end up using me we did find out that we live five minutes from each other and she loves styling. Another divine intervention! #thanksGod

Now probably twice a month both me and Katie F head up to Westminster for client shoots and it is SO FUN! We create brand images that visually tell the story of a business. I use these images on client websites and they use them on Instagram. There are so many ways to use them!
