Happy LAUNCH day to North Carolina wedding venue, Chestnut Ridge Events. Owner Taylor contacted me months ago about creating a brand for the wedding planning part of her business. What do I mean by that? Well, Taylor owns Chestnut Ridge Events, a wedding venue in the North Carolina mountains. Taylor also plays planner at many of the events and had a section on her site about the planning aspect with a different business name and logo for it. After a quick phone chat I convinced Taylor that combining her planning services with her venue services under one brand and logo was the best approach and here we are today! Branding for wedding businesses is the best, you guys.

After reading through her initial brand questionnaire we got together for a video call brand coaching session. This is her ideal client mockup I created:

Then I created a mood board and some initial logo concepts:

Here is the final brand board with a custom illustration by Blushed Design. Also, the “CR” monogram is from their old branding, but I made sure to incorporate it into the new brand since it’s on their barn doors!
