HAPPY HAPPY launch today to Birds of a Feather Photography! I have been working with the amazing dynamic duo and mother/daughter team for a few months now and I must say things turned out beautifully. Maggie and Betty have been doing wedding photography for several years now. Betty, the mama, took many, many pictures of her kids when Maggie, the daughter, was little during her dancing stage and that inspired Maggie to want to be a photographer. It’s really a beautiful story.
They wanted a classic and elegant black and white brand that maybe brought in some of the robin’s egg blue associated with their current brand. After our brand coaching session I had a pretty good idea of where they wanted to go and we had established their ideal client and industry niche so well.

The girls really loved their current logo but felt it wasn’t quite elegant and sophisticated enough so I ended up combining their current logo with some other fonts to create this final logo and brand board:
Then came their stationery and social media…
I now do styled branding shoots for my clients where I take a bunch of props and make pretty pictures out of them. They are awesome to use for marketing materials and on social media:
