Theresa Bridget Photography | A Reflection of the Branding Process

You may recall I finished up a full rebrand with Theresa of Theresa Bridget Photography this past January and it was awesome! Theresa now has a beautiful modern vintage cream and aqua brand that truly resonates with both her and her ideal client. I followed up with her to ask a few questions about her experience working with me and here is what she had to say. Thanks Theresa!

How would you describe your old brand and how would you describe your new brand?

I don’t even know if I had an old brand. I had a logo and just posted when ever I thought was pretty. I did not have a real director or even cohesive look. My new brand is a chic modern vintage look that is inspired by romance and marriage. I am inspired by light colors, bright and airy images and romance and my new brand is a reflection of that. I have had so many people tell me that my new site is “me on a page” and that is exactly what I wanted.

 

The initial mood board and brand coaching really helped me set the tone for my brand. It was a great chance to see what I wanted and didn’t want. It also really helped me see that my initial vision isn’t what I really liked. It is a create time to cultivate and fine tune your look.

Do you feel like your new brand will attract your ideal client more? How?

I really do think that my new brand will help elevate me as a photographer. My brand now reflect who I am as a photographers as well as my skill set, whereas my old brand did not. I feel like my skill, pricing and brand are all cohesive now, which will ultimately allow me to attract more of my ideal clients.

 

Are you glad you decided to do a whole rebrand versus just having a logo or website done?

Yes, this was a total investment in myself and my business. I could have just had a website, but I felt like that would have been continuing on the same path I was on, I wanted to elevate my brand and that is where the whole rebrand really came into play.

What would you say to anyone on the fence about signing up for full branding with Ribbon & Ink?

If you do not invest in your business, then how can you expect others to do the same.

The rebranding process really helped me create a brand that was elevated, cohesive, and centered on what I loved, attracting the kind of weddings I love.
