I always like to follow up with my full branding wedding vendor clients soon after working with me to see how people have received their new brands and get feedback. I recently followed up with Minnesota wedding photographer Amy Ekren to ask her a few questions post launch and here is what she said.
How would you describe your old brand and how would you describe your new brand?
Tired, all over the place, close in some spots, but oh so off and not really to what I wanted.
Do you feel the initial mood board and brand coaching session are representative of your visual brand?
Yes, absolutely.
Do you feel like your new brand will attract your ideal client more? How?
I feel like it represents my work and showcases the types of sessions I want to shoot.
Are you glad you decided to do a whole rebrand versus just having a logo or website done?
150% yes been there before – hasn’t worked!
What would you say to anyone on the fence about signing up for full branding with Ribbon & Ink?
Knock it off. Do you want to waste TIME – energy and more “going in circles” with something you are not an expert in? Would you want a “family friend with a camera” shooting your wedding? Why would you do the same to yourself with branding? Spend your time doing what you love – shooting weddings, and let Katie show the world who you truly are!
Thanks Amy for the kind words!
