Working with my full branding floral designer client Ava Flora has been AWESOME! Lori and Mike run their bespoke floral design business in Long Island, New York and have the most beautiful floral arrangements. They aren’t just florists though and that’s something we discussed during their brand coaching session. We really want to highlight the fact that they design the “landscape” of the event and not just provide pretty flowers. We have a fun, unique way of how we are going to do that and I can’t wait for you to see their site.

But before I get ahead of myself let me share their ideal client mockup we defined as a result of their in-depth brand questionnaire.

After our coaching session I put together a mood board that represents the overall visual identity for their brand. I find my brand coaching sessions really help my small business clients in discovering who they are as a business, but more importantly help me determine their visual brand. Once I know who they are trying to market to it’s so much easier to design a website, logo, etc. Here is the mood board I put together:

I just sent off their logo concepts yesterday and am anxiously awaiting to hear back! I can’t decide which is my favorite. Once they approve one I’ll blog about it and let you decide!
