I had the absolute pleasure of working with Joy of Joy Michelle Photography recently for a full rebrand. Joy is an amazing business woman, super talented photographer, and sweet person. I followed up with Joy to ask her a few questions about the branding process and here is what she said:

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR OLD BRAND AND HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR NEW BRAND?
My old brand was similar to my new brand but just disjointed and inconsistent. My new website and brand are cohesive and flow beautifully.

DO YOU FEEL THE INITIAL MOOD BOARD AND BRAND COACHING SESSION ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF YOUR VISUAL BRAND?
YES!

DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR NEW BRAND WILL ATTRACT YOUR IDEAL CLIENT MORE? HOW?
I do believe my new brand speaks much clearer to my ideal client. I believe because it is cohesive, my message is clearer and it will lead to booking the right kinds of clients that I love to work with.

ARE YOU GLAD YOU DECIDED TO DO A WHOLE REBRAND VERSUS JUST HAVING A LOGO OR WEBSITE DONE?
I am!

I think it’s tempting to do just a logo or mood board for your business, but a brand is so much more than a logo that it’s a disservice to reduce it to just that. By fully rebranding, I have invested in my business and I know it will last me 10x longer than just a logo ever could.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO ANYONE ON THE FENCE ABOUT SIGNING UP FOR FULL BRANDING WITH RIBBON & INK?
