My favorite part of my full branding process is hands down my in person brand coaching sessions. Not all clients are available to be at my studio, but I always have a little extra fun with the ones that are! Lizzie of Elizabeth Moore Photography drove two hours with her husband to be able to meet with me. I was really honored they chose to do that. I was fully expecting a Skype session, but the in person meeting was so worth it! In addition to identifying her ideal client and niche we exchanged Disney World stories and had a few laughs. I followed up with Lizzie to ask her how she thought the session went and here is what she said.

WHAT DID YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR BRAND COACHING SESSION?

The thing I loved most about my branding session was the fact that I feel like Katie already GOT me! Katie and I have been emailing back and fourth for a few months about my new brand. When I showed up to her home for my coaching session it was like she already knew everything about me and my ideal client. Kate presented me with a mock up ideal client, and nailed it right from the start!

DID YOU FEEL LIKE WE ESTABLISHED YOUR IDEAL CLIENT AND NICHE? WHY IS THAT IMPORTANT TO YOU?

Yes! Katie described my ideal client right down to the minor (but ever so important) details. Finding your ideal client is probably the most important part of running a creative small business. How can you know who you want to attract when you really don’t know who or what you are appealing too? This is so important to me because if you don’t know who your ideal client is how can you possibly sell yourself to them?

WHAT WERE THINGS YOU LEARNED ABOUT YOURSELF/BUSINESS DURING THE SESSION?

From the start I knew self discovery was going to be a huge part of this process for me. During the session Katie really helped me learn EXACTLY what I wanted. She helped boost my confidence and showed me that my work IS good enough, my brand just needs to catch up!

Oh, and that its really really obvious like the color pink!

HOW DID YOU FEEL AFTER THE BRAND COACHING SESSION?

I feel GREAT! I wish we could launch today! I’m so excited to see what Katie will help me do with my business in the coming months! It’s so nice to meet with your coach face-to-face so they can REALLY get a feel of who you are!
