About a month ago I wrapped up working with Liz of Elizabeth Fogarty Photography and launched her new brand and site. It’s awesome I think! So delicate and pretty. A much more refined look to fit Liz’s beautiful images. I followed up with Liz to see what she thought of the whole branding process with me and she was kind enough to answer a few questions in case any of you are on the brink of signing up.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR OLD BRAND AND HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR NEW BRAND?
My old brand was a little more girly and a little fun. My new brand is mature and more fine art.
DO YOU FEEL THE INITIAL MOOD BOARD AND BRAND COACHING SESSION ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF YOUR VISUAL BRAND?
YES! I knew Katie was going the right direction when I saw my mood board. And meeting in real life for the bran coaching session was ESSENTIAL! That is one thing that sets her apart.

DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR NEW BRAND WILL ATTRACT YOUR IDEAL CLIENT MORE? HOW?
YES! I did not feel like m images fit well in my old website but this new website just makes my images so much stronger. My website is my storefront so having a strong brand is essential to attracting my ideal client.
ARE YOU GLAD YOU DECIDED TO DO A WHOLE REBRAND VERSUS JUST HAVING A LOGO OR WEBSITE DONE?
OF COURSE! I was ready for a new look. I knew I wanted to re-do everything. There is no point to having a new logo with my old website. It would not go well together.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO ANYONE ON THE FENCE ABOUT SIGNING UP FOR FULL BRANDING WITH RIBBON & INK?
JUST DO IT. That is such a cliche, but it’s all I have to say. It is the one investment you will never regret. This day and age we have such a saturated market that if we do not stand out, we will lose clients. And not only standing out, but attracting the right client.
