Hello and welcome to Ribbon & Ink! I am so excited you stopped by. This new brand has been a vision of mine for the last few months and to see it all together is so rewarding.

For those of you who do not know me my name is Katie Durski and I am a one woman shop specializing in artisan branding for creatives and couples. For the last three years I have been refining my craft and transforming my design skills to better serve my clients. I had never really taken the time to sit down and do for myself what I do for my clients. I decided it would be a well worth it investment to rebrand my own business, formally KD Creative, into something more sophisticated to better represent my current style. I actually had two businesses, KD Creative and Ribbon & Ink. At the time Ribbon & Ink was solely for wedding branding and KD Creative was for small creative business branding, but my rebrand has combined the two ventures into one making life so much easier for me and less confusing for everyone else! I was at a point in my career where I had outgrown my style and needed a brand to better reflect that. What you are reading now is a part of that brand and vision. In addition to actually having a blog I have a brand new logo (courtesy of The Autumn Rabbit), website, client lounge, collateral, gifts, and packaging. I also have created a standard full branding package that includes everything a small business owner needs to start off with a successful brand. Go big or go home right? That is what branding is all about: being consistent with your image to the outside world. I wanted to make sure every aspect of my brand was in line with my more refined brand.

So what is it that I do? I specialize in artisan branding for creatives and couples. I create logos, website, blogs, and print collateral for small creative businesses. In addition to graphic design I offer brand coaching sessions now for all my clients where we sit one on one in my home studio or via Skype to review an in depth questionnaire and define the client’s target customer and niche. For engaged couples I create brand boards that include a logo, monogram, color palette, fonts, and patterns and use that board to create their invitation suites and more. I will have many examples of each service to come on the blog in the near future!
